LIFE IS SWEET

Most people I know love french fries... Of course, fries aren't the most healthy choice. But in the end, we have to enjoy life to the fullest! And good food is a part of this if you ask me. Fortunately, there are some great alternatives for unhealthy food that are as great as - or even better than - unhealthy food.
When I eat fries, I prefer to use sweet potato's. They are sweet and healthy. A great choice for dinner or an afternoon snack and salty cravings.

1 big potato for one portion (1 person)
herbs such as cumin, pepper and salt.

Preheat the oven to 200c. Clean and cut the potato('s). The slices can be thick. Put the slices on baking paper and sprinkle with olive oil or coconut oil and herbs. Leave in the oven for 20 minutes, turn the slices around half way through.

CHIA BREAKFAST

Hey there after a long period of non blogging!.. Today another healthy breakfast recipe: chia seeds pudding with mango/apple topping. Chia seeds are really healthy as they're packed with fiber, fatty acids, protein and minerals. The perfect choice for all you health and fitness lovers. Also, this breakfast can easily be prepared the night before - which leaves more time for sleeping in the morning.. My kind of food haha ;).

Chia seeds are the perfect completion to a yoghurt breakfast, as they mix well together and the seeds add nutrients for a full meal. I've added a nice mango / apple topping, easy to make and a good combination with the yoghurt.

I hope this breakfast recipe helps you to start your mornings with power and time on your hands! Have a great week xx

1 cup milk (almond, coconut or another type) or yoghurt
2 tbsp. chia seeds
1 mango
1 apple

Combine the milk together with the chia seeds in a glass jar. Set aside for 15 minutes. If you use milk, refrigerate overnight or at least 5-6 hours for the right texture.
Mash the mango and apple using a mixer. Put on top of the yoghurt.
